DOMAIN 01

The Messenger

Issue-based fashion
Cultural signal & visual reminder
[+] Domain 01: Cultural Intervention (Visual Movement)
Focus

"Wear the problem to start the conversation."

Context

Graphic-driven garments are used as visual interventions, placing environmental limits directly into everyday life. Not to instruct, but to interrupt.

Goal

To seed awareness through repetition, and allow a community to emerge around shared concern, without forcing consensus.

DOMAIN 02
CURRENT

Behavioral Friction

Decision pressure, consumption fatigue, cognitive overload
Interruption systems & intentional limitation
[+] Domain 02: Behavioral Friction (Human-System Interface)
Focus

"Not producing more. Interrupting faster."

Context

This domain explores the psychological layer of environmental damage, how speed, abundance, and frictionless access accelerate destruction. Rather than optimizing products, SIRKULE studies how deliberate resistance, delay, and absence can reduce harm without producing anything new.

Goal

To design systems where doing less becomes easier than consuming more, and restraint is treated as a form of environmental action. Hope: That moments of pause remain intentional, allowing both individuals and larger systems to reflect before accelerating.

DOMAIN 03
CONDITIONAL

Material Alchemy

Post-use textiles, plastics, and complex industrial residues
Material study & structural experimentation
[+] Domain 03: Structural Inquiry (Beyond Fabric)
Focus

"Not recycling. Rethinking what matter can become."

Context

This domain examines materials that can no longer function as fashion. Rather than directing them toward conventional recycling paths or predefined product outcomes, we study how complex waste behaves when approached as raw matter, with its potential functions, forms, and life cycles deliberately left open.

Goal

To identify conditions under which waste can be shifted away from ecological risk toward more stable and controllable material states, without assuming that the outcome must re-enter consumer markets.

DOMAIN 04
SPECULATIVE

Energy Sovereign

Non-recoverable residues & terminal waste
System-level waste resolution studies & energy recovery models
[+] Domain 04: The Sovereign Loop (Thermal & Systemic Recovery)
Focus

"Closing the loop where material transformation is no longer possible."

Context

This domain explores a hypothetical end-state, where all reusable and stabilizable materials have already been exhausted. At this point, remaining residues are treated not as resources, but as liabilities that require final containment or conversion.

Goal

To imagine a system where operational energy is partially sustained by the responsible resolution of waste, reducing external dependency rather than scaling production.
